The new bollington Brand logo was inspired by 'The White Nancy', an ancient stone building that can be seen for miles around the village of Bollington.
The shape of the building was used for the distinctive 'B' that you can see for all Bollington brands.
It was built as a summer house by a local family, who lived at Ingersley Hall, in 1815 and is regularly painted white in order to maintain its visibility. It may have been built to commemorate the battle of Waterloo.
